Double Shields

Please note each shield is handpainted by one of our in house artists and produced to a very high standard. Please allow 4-6 weeks from order to delivery.

If you either possess or have researched both names for your Double Shield, you can email us any notes, images, sketches separately to info@yorkinisignia.co.uk in order that we can check details against our records.

Alternatively if you are not sure of the design we can look them up and suggest options to you.

• If you are aware of a region within the country where your families come from, this will allow greater accuracy. Please note that unless you have done your own research and shared those details with us we cannot guarantee that the shield we provide is the definitive one for your branch of the family. 

Your shields will contain a central hand painted shield, called arms alone. Some have additional design features where a crest, or crest and supporters are added to the design.

We will provide the design that is appropriate for your Coats of arms.

All double shields come with two scrolls, but you can choose to have one or two additional scrolls if there is more information you would like to add e.g. a date to remember, family/organisational motto

Please note each shield is a bespoke handpainted shield by one of our in house artists and produced to a very high standard.

Each double shield comes with two scrolls as standard. These are added either above or below the main painted shield and are positioned on the wooden element of the shield. 

If you choose (Order) to have an additional scroll (3 in total), or two additional scrolls (4 in total). Please email us quoting your invoice number to (info@yorkinsignia.co.uk) with :

1. the details you would like on those scrolls
2. where you would like the additional scroll(s) placing, either above or below the main painted shield.
